In my last blog, AI for Churches – A Pivotal Moment, I touched on how the pandemic felt like a bit of an unavoidable *shove* for many churches into the digital age, whether they were ready or not. Resource platforms like the Church of England’s Digital Labs newsletter and blogs became lifelines, helping churches launch livestreams, host Zoom services, and build online communities.

One could argue that the Church was once at the forefront of leadership, music, art, culture — and dare I say it, communications. We could debate when that changed, or whether it was ever truly the case. Some might even argue it still is. However, I invite you to imagine a world where, to see the best in photography, design, video, or social media messaging, people looked to the Church.
